COVID-19 Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) Advisory
We are committed to keeping our community, staff and guests safe.
In response to the rising locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, Singapore will be embarking on a month-long heightened alert with effect from 16 May 2021 to 13 June 2021.
ForestPlay is passionate about making outdoor free play enjoyable for children. But more importantly, outdoor free play must be made safe for everyone. In line with the Government’s COVID-19 advisory, we have made key decisions and changes to the operations at ForestPlay so that you can have a peace of mind.
1. Capacity
During Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), ForestPlay will be open for the public but at a reduced capacity of 25%.
If you have purchased ticket(s) during the period of 16 May 2021 to 13 June 2021, your ForestPlay experience will take place at the appointed time, unless otherwise informed by our staff team. Our team is committed to do what it takes to keep all staff, children and parents safe.
2. Cleaning and Sanitization
It is ForestPlay’s practice to do regular cleaning and sanitization. Even more so during this unprecedented time. Play areas, high contact surfaces and tools will be sanitized before and after every play session.
3. Other enhanced safety measures
3.1 Safety and visual checks of staff and guests
Upon entering the premises, staff and guests will undergo visual and health screening. Visual and health screening includes mandatory temperature taking as well as looking out for mouth ulcers and blisters on hands and feet. Guests and/or staff who do not pass the required health screening asked to leave immediately to see a doctor. Our team will arrange for a rescheduling of play experience for guests who do not pass the health screening.
3.2 TraceTogether and Travel Declaration
Parents/Guardian and staff must declare and check-in to ForestPlay via the TraceTogether app. We advise all parents to download the TraceTogether app before entering the premise. Additionally, parents will be required to accurately state their travel information via our Travel Declaration form. ForestPlay reserves the right to turn guests away from play and reschedule their play time if guests have potential exposure and/or linked to known cases.
3.3 Masks on
Guests and staff entering the ForestPlay premise must keep their masks on at all times. Children and staff in the play area will be expected to wear their masks during play sessions, except during mud play and water play.
3.4 Hygiene
Staff are expected to adhere to high hygiene standards, with regular hand washing. Staff are to reduce physical contact such as hand shakes as much as possible.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
We are in the process of analysing the evolving COVID-19 situation. Relevant safety measures have been put in place to make play safe for everyone. In light of the current COVID-19 situation and reduction in capacity, for guests who have purchased their tickets before 8 May 2021 and scheduled their visit during the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), will be entitled to reschedule their slots to a preferred date two months in advance. Guests have to write in with their requests to hello@forestplay.com.sg at least 5 days in advance of their current booking date to allow ample time for rescheduling.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your ForestPlay tickets, please contact hello@forestplay.com.sg.
Stay safe! We seek your kind understanding as we ride through this pandemic.
We will get through this together!
