Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all programmes and events hosted by or operated by ForestPlay by Kidz Treehouse International Pte. Ltd (herein “ForestPlay”).

1) Pricing

Retail prices are updated as of 1st August 2021. All rates are in local currency and include relevant taxes.

ForestPlay reserves the right to alter published prices at any time.

The ForestPlay Package Passes are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

2) Admission

You MUST PRESENT the booking confirmation email to staff on arrival for your booked session date and time.

You MUST COMPLETE and sign the waiver form of behalf of your child/ward prior to entry into ForestPlay.

Entry shall be denied where a valid booking confirmation cannot be produced and/or incomplete waiver form.

3) Safety and Code of Conduct

Please note that age restrictions apply for children to participate in activities in ForestPlay.

ForestPlay activities are subjected to a strict Code of Conduct (CoC). ForestPlay shall conduct a safety briefing of the CoC and / or a Safety Video will be displayed that all participants must listen and watch before entering ForestPlay.

For the purposes of ensuring safety, ForestPlay reserves the right and discretion to refuse entry and may ask those who break the CoC to leave without refund.

Parents and legal guardians of the participating children agree that the children shall comply with the rules of conduct and safety for all activities and hereby accept to assume full responsibility for any damage or injury of any nature which he/she may suffer or cause to others and hereby holds ForestPlay and its subsidiaries free from all legal liability. Parents and legal guardians acknowledge that they have read and agree to be bounded to the waiver form that was provided before and at the time of purchase of the online tickets. 

4) Online Purchase Refund Policy

Bookings made are non-refundable although they are transferable.

5) Rescheduling and cancellations by you (with effect 25 August 2021)

We seek to provide an enriching experience which meets your child’s needs and their expectations, however rescheduling of play sessions for ForestPlay purchased via Single Session Passes will not be allowed. Rescheduling may only be allowed for ForestPlay Package Passes as listed in the booking platform accessed through this link: https://forestplay.com.sg/book-now/ .

6) Rescheduling & Cancellations by Pass Holders and Corporate Partner Bookings

Rescheduling may only be allowed for ForestPlay Package Passes as listed in the booking platform accessed through this link: https://forestplay.com.sg/book-now/ . Rescheduling may be considered with proper written notice via email 3 days in advance and the rescheduled date must be within a 30-day period. Kindly notify us for any such rescheduling at hello@forestplay.com.sg . Kindly note that there can only be one rescheduling.

7) No-show

If you are unable to attend part or all of your booked ForestPlay sessions for any reason after it has started, we will be under no obligation to reschedule or provide you with a refund.

8) Rescheduling by ForestPlay due to inclement weather

The programme will not be cancelled during light rain conditions as this is part of our meaningful adventure-play. You may bring your own or purchase a poncho for such a situation.

However, if a session is cancelled by ForestPlay due to bad weather, which may include heavy rain or lightning, and participant has only utilised no more than 50% of the play-session, ForestPlay shall provide an e-discount code where participants may re-book another free full session within a 3-month period of that cancellation.

Prior to any cancellation and where there is intermittent bad weather, ForestPlay may suspend the play and the activities shall resume thereafter for the remaining period of the slot. There will be strictly no extension of time.

For avoidance of doubt, any cancellations will be at the discretion of ForestPlay and except for the e-discount code as mentioned above, there shall be no cash refunds.

9) Government-Mandated Cessation

If we are required to close temporarily under extraordinary measures mandated by the government we will hold all customer bookings in credit for when services can resume. In the event of a long-term cessation for a duration longer than a term of 6 months, we will be under no obligation to provide a refund.

10) Transfer

You may transfer your ForestPlay Package Pass session(s) to other parties provided that you provide us with at least 2 working days advanced notice in writing via email to hello@forestplay.com.sg.

The parties to whom the Package Passes that has been transferred to shall also agree to be bound to these Terms and Conditions.

Anyone taking your place at ForestPlay is required to sign the relevant waiver form and read our Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct before entry.

11) Attendance of Accompanying Adults

Adults are not permitted to enter ForestPlay premises at all times.

It is only in exceptional situations with supporting and justifiable grounds that a child may be accompanied by an adult. This shall be at the sole discretion by the management.

12) Variation and Cancellation

The management reserves the rights to amend or withdraw any part of the Package Passes and privileges, terms and conditions without prior notice. Should any dispute arise, the decision by the management of ForestPlay will be final.

13) Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.

14) Data Protection Policy

We take your personal data seriously and endeavour to safeguard any personal data that you have shared with us and to fully comply with the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore.

We take this opportunity to share with you the Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) of ForestPlay by Kidz Treehouse International Pte. Ltd. (“ForestPlay”).

Personal Data in this Policy includes any data about an individual who can be identified from that data such as the individual’s name, NRIC, Birth Certificate, passport or other identification number, telephone numbers, mailing address, email address and any other information relating to individuals, which you have provided to us. 

This Policy forms a part of the Terms and Conditions governing your relationship with ForestPlay and should be read in conjunction with those Terms and Conditions.

By continuing to use ForestPlay services and products and/or by submitting Personal Data to ForestPlay through the various channels of collection of Personal Data (listed below) by ForestPlay, you have agreed to have read, understood, and be bounded by this Policy and any other amendments to this Policy as may from time to time occur.

15) Collection of Personal Data

We generally do not collect your personal data unless (a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us (your “authorised representative”) after (i) you (or your authorised representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and (ii) you (or your authorised representative) have provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes, or (b) collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws.

We shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose which has not been notified to you (except where permitted or authorised by law).

ForestPlay collects Personal Data through the following channels:

When you provide Personal Data, either face-to-face with ForestPlay employees, or on paper, or via email, or via our website, or over the telephone, or through a third party, or by any other means:

  • When you leave Personal Data for us to contact you.
  • When you leave Personal Data in response to any of our marketing initiatives and promotions, and any events or services. organised by ForestPlay
  • When a third party provides us with your Personal Data.

16) Purposes for the Collection, Use or Disclosure of Personal Data

ForestPlay collects, uses, and discloses Personal Data in order to provide you with an effective, efficient, safe and customised experience.

We also collect, use, and disclose your Personal Data for the following purposes in connection with the products and service which you have applied for (collectively “Purposes”), to the extent applicable:

  • Verifying of identity
  • Responding to and handling of your queries and requests;
  • Processing your application for any of the products or services offered by us;
  • Providing the products and services applied for by you;
  • Facilitating, administering, managing and / or maintaining your relationship with us;
  • Handling complaints and customer feedback;
  • Contacting you for service, product or customer satisfaction surveys and market research;
  • Generating financial, regulatory, management or other related reports and performance of analytics;
  • Complying with safety, security, regulatory bodies and other legal compliance;
  • For any legal purposes;
  • Conducting investigations relating to disputes, billing or fraud;
  • Organising educational, promotional and marketing events in relation to products and services offered by ForestPlay;
  • Taking photographs, videos and other form of visual and audio recordings to be used as digital and non-digital marketing collaterals;
  • And any other purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

The purposes listed in the above clauses may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us (for example, pursuant to a contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).

Where necessary and where it is for and reasonably within the Purposes, ForestPlay may share your Personal Data with third parties. In such situations, ForestPlay shall use its best endeavours to ensure that such third parties shall observe and adhere to the terms of this Policy.

By providing Personal Data relating to any third party (including but not limited to your dependent, spouse, children and/or parents) to us, you represent and warrant that the consent of that third party has been obtained for the collection, use and disclosure of the Personal Data for the Purposes.

17) Consent

By allowing the collection of Personal Data referred to above, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Data for the Purposes.

The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.

Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.

Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our services and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described above.

Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.

18) Access

Subject to any statutory exception and exemptions that may apply, ForestPlay shall allow you access to your personal data that is in our possession or control.

Upon such a request, ForestPlay shall provide the individual with the following as soon as reasonably possible:

a)     personal data about the individual that is in the possession or under the control of the organisation; and

b)     information about the ways in which that personal data has been or may have been used or disclosed by the organisation within a year before the date of the individual’s request.

This access must be made by written request to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below and an administrative fee will be charged for this.

19) Retention

ForestPlay will retain your Personal Data to the extent one or more of the Purposes for which it was collected remains valid, for other legal or business purposes for which retention may be necessary and where required by the law.

20) Protection

ForestPlay takes the security and protection of Personal Data very seriously. ForestPlay shall use its best endeavours to make reasonable security arrangements to protect Personal Data against loss or theft, unauthorized access and undue disclosure.

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption and the use of privacy filters to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorised third party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis.

You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

21) Transfer Of Information Overseas

Personal Data may be transmitted to data storage facilities where ForestPlay keeps its database. These data storage facilities may be in Singapore or overseas where we remain bound to our obligations under this Policy and shall ensure the same with any such 3rd party intermediary.

22) Accuracy

As Personal Data is provided by you, we require your assistance to ensure that this is current, complete, and accurate. Please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer in writing or via email at the contact details provided below.

23) Retention Of Personal Data

We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

24) Update of Policy

ForestPlay will amend this Policy from time to time and the updated version will be posted on our website. The English version of this Policy will prevail in the event of any inconsistencies between the English version and a translated version.
